Plan a 3D/2N Chopta Tungnath trekking tour with Deoriatal camping. Enjoy Himalayan views, sunrise at Chandrashila, and adventure in Uttarakhand.
Arrive at Chopta (known as Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand).
Start a short trek to Deoriatal Lake (2.3 km from Sari village).
Enjoy reflections of Chaukhamba peaks in the lake.
Evening bonfire, dinner, and overnight camping by Deoriatal.
Early morning descend back to Chopta.
Trek to Tungnath Temple (3.5 km uphill) – the highest Shiva temple in the world.
Option to extend trek to Chandrashila Peak for panoramic sunrise views of Nanda Devi & Trishul.
Return to Chopta, dinner, and overnight stay in campsite/hotel.
Enjoy sunrise views over meadows.
Breakfast at campsite.
Depart with memories of Deoriatal camping and Tungnath-Chandrashila trek.
It is a beginner-friendly trek with easy to moderate difficulty. Daily trekking distance is 3–5 km, suitable for families and first-timers.
The trek is open throughout the year.

Winter (Dec–Feb): Snow trek experience.
Monsoon (July–Aug): Not recommended due to heavy rains.
